Bulls Recall Curry From D-League; Will Undergo Thumb Surgery

The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has recalled JamesOn Curry from the D-League's Iowa Energy.He was most recently assigned to the Energy on Jan. 7, his second tour of duty with the Bulls' D-League affiliate. He was also on assignment with the Energy from Nov. 15 – Dec. 17, 2007. Upon being recalled, Curry is scheduled to undergo left thumb surgery.

Krzyzewski And Donovan Honored as USA Basketball’s Coaches of the Year

USA Men's Senior National Team head coach Mike Krzyzewski of Duke University and USA Women's National Team head coach Anne Donovan have been named co-recipients of the 2007 USA Basketball National Coach of the Year Award, USA Basketball announced today. Krzyzewski and Donovan each piloted their respective USA national teams to FIBA Americas Championship gold medals and qualified both the USA men and women for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
